Payments: We accept all major credit cards EXCEPT AT THE BEACH. SO we do ask when possible for customers to pay with cash. Service to connect to card processing can be difficult and is NOT guaranteed from any of our beach locations. ATM’s are located on Nantasket Ave on the way through town. You are welcome to arrive at the shop above pay for your lesson then head to the beach (between 10am and 6pm). Lessons out of the shop accept all major credit cards. We do not have electricity on the beach.

Need to Cancel any Hour Lesson: For surf lessons, If you must cancel please do so 2 hours before your lesson time by calling our phone line 617-297-SURF and leave a message. It is okay to cancel a lesson just please communicate with us. We have a no worries cancellation policy.

General Information: Arrive at least 15 minutes early to park, larger groups should allow more time. Please be on time, if running late please call and leave a message, we will try our hardest to accommodate you into the next group of students. We have the ice cream shop below next to the surf shop, a hose for your feet and a customer only bathroom. Cold water and Coke Drinks. 

Weather: Northeast Surfing will surf in the rain, while in the ocean you won’t even feel the rain. What we don’t like is strong winds or storms. For our lessons Northeast Surfing will cancel your lesson if there are bad storms or high winds at no cost to you.

What to Bring, after sign up whats next?: After you booked your lesson, party, or fill out the signup sheet on the signup page for a surfing clinic, and we confirm your space, this is what you need to bring.

• Towel – Bring a towel so you have something to dry yourself off with.
• Bathing Suit – You should be wearing a bathing suit.
• Waterproof Sunscreen – The sun is strong, Northeast Surfing is NOT responsible for sun burns on you, (adult students) or your child, but we will make sure they have it on.
• Water Bottle – Please bring water, you will sweat in the ocean, and lose water, you will need to drink lots of water.
• Snack – Please bring a snack. The children get very hungry so we recommend NUT free snacks.
• Sweat Shirt or Fleece – It gets cold on the beach please send something warm to wear.

• Equipment: Wetsuits and surfboards/paddleboards are included in your lesson.
• Vehicle Parking Disclaimer – Northeast Surfing LLC is not responsible for your vehicles no matter where you decide to park. This includes but is not limited to, break-ins, theft of your vehicle, damage to your vehicle, incident involving Law Enforcement, a parking ticket, towing of your vehicle, or any other named or not named here, incidents that involve you, your vehicle, or anyone’s vehicle. On the beach there is parking lots where you can pay to park.

• Can I keep the equipment after the lesson? You can rent the boards see our rental page for the cost. 
• Do you provide any photography or video recording options? We have some go pros you can rent and boards with mounts. 
• How long does a lesson last? One hour and 15 minutes. But the lesson part is the hour. The 15 minutes is paperwork, wetsuits and walk to the beach. 
• Do we surf in the rain? Yes we surf in everything except thunder. You won't feel the rain. 
• What happens if we have no surf? Well no such thing for beginners. Always a bump and our NSSIA accreditation will teach you on whatever we have. If your more advanced check our camera in the morning or call.
