Pathetic one foot sand lappers this AM at the beach with north winds. Choppy and flat is the call. Maybe something this weekend..but don’t hold your breath waiting.
TODAY…..FRIDAY…..STORE…..OPEN…..9:00AM to 6:00PM
5:30AM…..KENNEBUNK BEACH…..FRIDAY MORNING

Under a foot…Glassy and peeling.
Not looking rideable for an adult.
Probably a fun little wave for a kid.
Wave heights will change a bit with the tides today…but don’t expect much.
If you are really looking to surf today..pick a higher tide for a paddle out.
Tomorrow will be just like today.
Sunday we see south winds and 1/2ft chop at kennebunk.
Monday…one to two foot…knee to thigh high crumbly little riders.
Monday should be a fun little swell…tiny but fun.
Tuesday will probably be too small to surf.
Tropics are still quiet…there is a tropical wave moving off Africa that is being watched closely…but it is still a couple days away from real development.
I will keep you posted.

Slightly larger than yesterday with 1-2 footers consistent all day. Maybe some 3 footers popping up on occasion. Winds are brisk from the south west right now. No rain here at all.
That wasnt so bad. We have waves again. Today is 3′ @ 7 seconds with a stiff 20knt SW that has been blowing all night. That translates to duck dive and slop. But with warm (70+) water…. who cares? Keeps you in shape. Friday morn may even be clean. As for today. Punchy shore break to practice your airs. GET IT!!!!
And Dont Forget The Nate Mott Band at the Whaling Museum in New Bedford Friday night! 6-9pm 21+ and the areas best surf music! BY SURFERS!!!!!
